Emme Muñiz, daughter of Jennifer Lopez and her ex-husband Marc Anthony, will release a new children’s book this fall. You may recognize Emme from the 2020 Super Bowl halftime show, where she sang alongside her mom and Shakira for their co-headlining performance. Now, Emme is taking her talents to the writing world, publishing a new book about sloths and prayer.

Lord Help Me takes the prayers Emme says to the page, paired with her love for sloths. From small daily struggles to world issues, the book will guide young readers through Emme’s nightly prayers and the joy that they have brought her.

From the publisher’s release, Emme’s book will address “moments every day where we can use a little help. Some are small, like waking up for school or getting along with a sibling. Others are big, like helping to save the planet and all its creatures—especially sloths! But asking God for help always brings us the strength to get through anything.”

“In school, I learned about sloths and how they’re facing extinction, so I began to pray for them in my nightly prayers,” Emme said in a press release. “I wrote this book to help raise money to save sloths while also teaching other children how we can pray and ask for help, two things that bring me a lot of comfort.”
