Our first look at the standard box art for PS5 games is here. Check out the Spider-Man: Miles Morales box art before it releases this winter.
Sony has revealed the PS5 box art for Spider-Man: Miles Morales, which is set to release this winter. This is the first glimpse at what PS5 games will look like when they hit store shelves.
The Spider-Man: Miles Morales box art is similar to 2018’s Marvel’s Spider-Man box art. This time, Miles Morales is front and center. He’s striking an aggressive pose, which also teases an electric ability charged from his fist. The iconic webbing is present behind Morales. Both games are developed by Insomniac Games.
The top strip of the box is highlighted white with the PS5 logo shown in black. This is a stark difference from the PS4 box art, which adhered to a standard blue strip. The new case still retains the transparent blue color. The PS5 box art matches the white and black color scheme of the new console and the DualSense controller.
We first saw game footage of Spider-Man: Miles Morales during the June 11 PS5 showcase. Even though the PS5 reveal disappointed us, there’s no doubt that Spider-Man: Miles Morales was one of the most exciting reveals.
Though the PS5 box art is a small reveal, it means we’re one step closer to the console’s release. We’ll be sure to cover the announcements as they roll in.
What do you think of the new PS5 design? With the reveal of two PS5 consoles–the Digital Edition and Standard Edition–how will you be purchasing games going forward? Let us know in the comments so that we can all share in the excitement!
