As a Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) fan, I can’t get enough of the movies. I just want them to keep going and the idea of not seeing some iconic superheroes I have grown to love on the Marvel screen broke my heart. Especially Robert Downey Junior as Iron Man.

But the good thing about MCU is that it is a big universe and more movies and series can be created from the comics already produced. Fans even get lucky with reboots and sequels. But doing another sequel to the Avengers or a reboot might just be over-reaching. It was time for it to come to an end and it ended well.

The end of Avengers Endgame gave Marvel fans a lot to look forward to in the universe. New series and movies were confirmed with the launch of Marvel Phase 4. Even though these movies and series have all been announced. It is the ones that have not been given the green-light that I’m most excited about. And I really hope they are part of Marvel Phase 5 launch.

Here are some movies I’m anticipating for Marvel’s upcoming phases.

1) Marvel Cinematic Universe’s A-Force.

A-Force is an all-female superhero squad. The fact that this comic about a badass, all-women squad might be coming to the big screen makes me so happy. The comics debuted in 2015. This all-female cast consists of Dazzler, Medusa, Singularity, and Nico Minoru. Marvel has not confirmed an A-Force movie or series but with She-Hulk in the works, it seems like Marvel Studios is laying groundwork for A-Force.

The team is led by She-Hulk and with the new She-Hulk series that is set to premiere on Disney plus. Fans like myself can only hope that A-Force is part of Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Phase 5 plans.

2) Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Young Avengers.

Young Avengers is another movie or series I’m excited to see in the new Marvel Cinematic Universe. Mostly because Avengers has ended and I need something to fill the void I feel inside. The Young Avengers follows the events after the Avengers Disassembled.

With the new Hawkeye series in works, it is possible that Marvel Studios is laying another groundwork for Young Avengers. In the Hawkeye series, Clint Barton will train Kate Bishop to take over as his successor. Also, after Harley Keener’s appearance at Tony Stark’s burial in Endgame, speculations have been made about Iron Lad’s appearance in Young Avengers. Keener is the kid who helped Tony Stark in Iron Man 3. Iron Lad is a member of Young Avengers alongside Kate Bishop.

3) Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Fantastic Four.

After the 2005 Fox movie, Fantastic Four has been a disappointing experience for me with every new release. But now that Marvel Entertainment has film rights back. I’m hopeful for the new movie. Back in 2019, Marvel Studios confirmed an MCU Fantastic Four movie at the San Diego Comic-Con. Fans are excited for the return of this movie, especially because the characters of the Fantastic Four could become huge if the plot and filming is done well. So fingers crossed on this one.

The movies on this list except Fantastic Four are assumptions and hopes of a fan who wants to see more in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Marvel is known for making great superhero movies, and I can’t wait for all that is in store for fans.
