Thriller movies can wake you up better than an alarm clock. They’re exhilarating, but not scary enough to keep you up at night. If you want to feel a surge of adrenaline, these suspenseful movies should do the trick.

Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse is more than another superhero movie. It's thriller perfection!

Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse isn’t a typical thriller

This movie is an experience. The graphic designs, characters, and soundtrack are perfection. Even though it’s kid-friendly, it’s suspenseful and exhilarating for all ages.

The Spider Man in this movie is Miles Morales. With the help of Peter Parker, and other Spidermen (and Spider-women and a Spider-pig), Miles fights the Kingpin. You see where this gets interesting? It’s unlike any movie I’ve ever seen!

What are you waiting for? Get your adrenaline pumping with this movie!

Good Time is a thriller with constant action

This thriller is absolute chaos. And I mean that in the best way. In Good Time, Robert Pattinson portrays a bank robber navigating New York’s crime world. After a robbery gone wrong, he must gather enough money to bail his disabled brother out of jail.

It’s a grimy, yet stunning movie. The high stakes and fast pacing make for a suspenseful thrill-ride. If you enjoyed Good Time, then I recommend streaming Uncut Gems next. It has the same suspenseful energy and is from the same directors.

Sci-fi movie, Snowpiercer will leave you in disbelief

The movie Snowpiercer takes place in 2031 and climate change has destroyed the planet. Since Earth is uninhabitable, survivors circle the globe on a segregated train. The richest survivors thrive in the front and the poorest passengers eat cricket bars in the back.

This movie is bleak, but thought-provoking and suspenseful from start to finish. It’s not just a blood-pumping thriller, it leaves you with philosophical questions. Because what’s more thrilling than pondering life?
