This movie won’t help you build a spaceship in your backyard. Instead, Phineas and Ferb have their hands full with something else. A group of aliens abducted their pesky elder sister, Candace. Now the brothers and their gang have to travel across space to rescue her.

Disney+’s Magic Camp, has been in development since 2017. Director Mark Waters wanted a cinematic release for the movie. But budgetary constraints led to Christopher Robin taking up its release slot. Disney Studios ultimately decided that Magic Camp would benefit from a digital release. Hence they tossed Magic Camp in the Disney+ lineup.
Magic Camp is arguably the most imposing picture that will arrive on Disney+ this year. The starry lead cast features Adam Devine, Jeffrey Tambor, and Gillian Jacobs. Devine’s Andy Tuckerman returns to be a counselor for his old camp. Unexpectedly, a group of amateur sorcerers changes his life forever.
Disney+ has a vast pool of internal franchises. The streamer can summon content from franchises like Star Wars, Marvel and Pixar. But for now, Disney+ is focusing on stand-alone fables.
