The 3 Hats God Wears To Help Us

The first hat that God wears is that of Father. By being our father, God helps us out. He guides us in the right direction. When His people stumbling lost, He helps us to find our way home.

He protects us. When we tumble into trouble, He is there to bail us out. If bailing us out would do us a disservice, He takes the time to teach us through life’s hard lessons.

But no matter how things look, He is always there to look after us. He helps his people by treating us as His children. He helps us, his people, because He cares for us.

The second hat that God wears is that of rock. We may wonder, what kind of strange hat is this. But we are God’s people and we need something steady and unchanging in our lives.

God helps us by always being there when we need Him.  He is unflinching when we tell Him the worst about us. He understands the pain of us people. He is there to comfort us without fail.

The third hat God wears is that of a savior. Through our own inequities we deserve death. We deserve the worst judgement available. We are hideous in the darkness of our sin. Yet God redeems His people, not by some third party, but by Himself. He gave us His son’s life, so He may forgive us.

God wears these hats to protect and care for His people. Everything God does is to help us and love us.
