Savannah Brymer is relatively new to the True Crime YouTube scene. She started posting videos in 2017 and covered a wide range of topics, including clothing reviews, makeup tutorials, and life blogs. She didn’t start covering True Crime stories until the beginning of 2018. Her first video of this kind was about a little girl called Hayleigh Cummings.

Hayleigh Cummings vanished from her home in 2009, at five years old. The mystery is still unsolved to this day. This video reached over 760,000 views. It is evident that she is passionate about raising awareness for the victims and has a great platform to do so. The extensive research she does into the cases leaves no stone unturned.

As well as an up-and-coming YouTube channel, Savannah Brymer hosts an incredible podcast. Named Killer Instinct, she covers most of the cases that are on her YouTube channel. So, if you need to listen on the go, you have no excuse! I have only just discovered Savannah Brymer, but I am already completely hooked on her videos. I can’t wait to see what the future has in store for this budding True Crime enthusiast. Go and check her out!

Bella Fiori is another example of a YouTuber who doesn’t focus solely on True Crime. Her primary focus is on beauty and travel content. From Australia, she has taken the internet by storm, with over 2 million subscribers! Not to mention the 600,000 followers she has on Instagram.

Since 2015, the True Crime section on her channel is Mystery Monday, which follows unsolved cases. Her most viewed video is one covering the murder of Jacob Wetterling, With 3.5 million views. Although this is a solved case, it was unsolved for 27 years. Bella tells the story of the 11-year-old that went missing in 1989. His remains weren’t found until 2016, causing a mass of theories to surface over the years.

Most of Bella Fiori’s videos sit between 30-40 minutes, but they’re jam-packed full of information. They’re perfect for a bite-sized mystery whilst you are getting ready or doing a quick wipe down of your kitchen! If you like putting your detective hat on, join Bella Fiori on her ‘Mystery Monday’ series and get stuck in!

3. Coffee and Crime Time

Stephanie Harlowe’s videos are brilliant, mostly because she doesn’t hold back her opinions. She does, of course, explore all avenues and theories, but she doesn’t shy away from speaking her mind. I love to see this in the True Crime YouTube scene! It’s refreshing to hear all the facts alongside an authentic opinion.

She publishes videos on dark history and unsolved mysteries as well as True Crime videos. Yet, she too began her YouTube journey posting beauty and cosmetics content. Thankfully, she has moved completely over to the dark side. She has a very compelling series called ‘Coffee and Crime Time’. In these videos, she gives updates on cases she has covered if any new evidence or information has come to light. This is unique, as I not seen many YouTubers do this. It keeps you engaged with the case and helps you remain vigilant.

With over 270,000 subscribers, she’s doing something right. Her videos are intricately detailed, and she puts a huge amount of time and effort into her research. One of her most famous videos is about the Watts Family Homicides, reaching over 610,000 views. Although she does have some shorter videos, a lot of Stephanie’s content is split into three, sometimes four videos. She really doesn’t leave any detail out! This channel is one to go to if you’re stuck under the duvet for the day.

The only British True Crime YouTuber on this list, Eleanor Neale boasts more than 1 million subscribers! After studying Psychology at college, she knew she wanted to have a job studying the criminal mind’s fascinating nature. However, she never envisaged that her YouTube channel would grow to what it is now!

Joining in 2016 posting beauty content, much like the other channels on this list, she soon ventured into True Crime videos. She covers cases in the UK primarily, but you will also find cases on her channel from all over the world. Her four most popular videos are cases from across the United Kingdom, and some of them are quite obscure. If you want to explore some British True Crime, Eleanor Neale is your girl.

Her most viewed case covers the disappearance and murder of a Scottish schoolgirl, Paige Doherty. With 3 million views, Eleanor tells her audience how 15-year-old Paige was murdered in 2016 on her way to her Saturday job. Most of the cases she covers are solved, so if you want something with a solid beginning and end, you can’t go wrong on this channel.

As much as I love all the YouTubers on this list, I have a special place in my heart for Kendall Rae. Her videos are what piqued my interest at YouTube True Crime videos in the first place. It was only fitting she secured the number one spot on this list! There is a reason she has 1.9 million subscribers, as her videos are the best of their kind. She also has an incredibly successful podcast with her husband, Josh. Mile Higher Podcast covers much of the same topics in greater detail, and I urge you to give it a listen!

Kendall Rae’s channel is riddled with interesting content. As well as True Crime, she also covers conspiracy theories, strange phenomena, astrology, and the paranormal. There is such a variety of content on this channel; it’s no wonder Kendall Rae is one of the most well-known YouTubers in this field.

One of the many reasons I am obsessed with Kendall’s channel is the fantastic work she does with Thorn. Thorn is an organization formed by Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore, fighting to abolish sex trafficking all over the world. Kendall does a ‘Where Is’ series in which she sells limited-edition merch, with 100% of the profits going to Thorn. So far, she has raised over $70,000 through her ‘Where Is’ campaign. She advocates for people whose voices need to be or should have been heard, and you will definitely find something for you on her channel.

So there you have it, my list of the best True Crime YouTubers! Whether you’re stuck in the house on a rainy day or on your lunch break from work, there is something here for everyone. Make sure to check out Killer Instinct and Mile Higher too. Let me know what you think in the comments!
